General Position Summary Performs professional correctional and program casework; supervising and managing activities of adult felony offenders for the corrections department. This position involves the participation and application of program goals and objectives to promote a strengths-based, wellness informed, client centered approach to assist individuals in achieving their goals. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education, Certification, & Experience QMHA or a Bachelor's degree and ability to certify as a QMHA within one year of hire date Oregon Driver's License Certified in First Aid, CPR, and LEDS or ability to within one year of hire date Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Reasoning Ability - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word and Excel Word Processing software.
