POSITION SUMMARY:


Early Autism Services is seeking a full-time Care Coordinator (CC) for our Hoffman Estates, IL clinic. The primary function of the Care Coordinator (CC) is to support the day-to-day operations of their assigned clinic. This position has a direct influence on ensuring effective operations of the clinic and ensuring a safe and inviting therapeutic environment, liaising with caregivers, completing general operational reporting and assisting the CSMD and Executive Team with developing and achieving market goals and objectives and marketing their office, locally.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Revise last-minute (less than 24-hours) schedule changes for staff and clients.
  • Notify all affected parties (staff, families, center managing clinicians) immediately when any scheduling changes occur with less than 24-hour notice.
  • Support and coordinate new client intakes.
  • Monitor and order clinic supplies with approval from the Executive Team.
  • Collaborate with recruiting and onboarding to manage the local onboarding and training schedule for new hires.
  • Maintain client and employee privacy in accordance with EAS policy and HIPAA regulations.
  • Have availability to share opening and closing the clinic (Hours 8am-6pm Monday-Friday and a Saturday a month).
  • Manage CentralReach Appointments and Conversions of New Hire appointments and ensures compliance with policy.
  • Work with centralized intake team to coordinate new client outreach and scheduling of initial assessments.
  • Assists with maintaining general facility maintenance (e.g. cleaning, organizing, restocking, simple repairs), and coordinate the completion of more complex maintenance needs with the CSMD and Executive Team.
  • Conducting fill in 1:1 sessions in the clinic as needed and assigned.
  • Manages and reports on clinic and market Key Performance Metrics.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Clinical Director, and Executive Team.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in a medical office or similar setting.
  • Basic knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis & early childhood development. Experience as a behavior technician preferred.
  • Must be able to work effectively as a team member, demonstrate flexibility and desire to learn new skills and improve professional qualifications.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

  • Strong communication skills to work with a diverse team.
  • Basic computer skills and be able to use all required software.
  • Ability to problem-solve and assist in decision-making independently including during emergencies
  • Maintain current status regarding assigned core competencies and other required certification acquisition within established schedule and timelines.
  • Work productively to develop relationships with individuals, families, and natural supports.
  • Proven creative abilities, strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills and good customer service skills.
  • Have a valid Driver's license, car insurance, reliable transportation and a good driving record
  • Maintain a high level of organization for electronic client file maintenance, daily, weekly and monthly record keeping.

This position must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between different job sites in the assigned region which may include distances of greater than three hours of travel.
