Description Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse or Manager, fulfills the scrub or monitor role for Cath Lab procedures. (Scrub assists the physician during Cath Lab procedures, creates and protects the sterile field, manages a variety of Cath Lab related supplies and equipment, and ensures a safe surgical environment. Monitor provides physiological monitoring of all patients during Cath Lab procedures, performs selected measurements and calculations, provides computerized documentation.) Required qualifications: + National Registered Vascular Technologist upon hire or + National Registered Vascular Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire or + National Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography upon hire + National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire + National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire + 1 year Hospital experience Preferred qualifications: + Cath Lab experience, or experience as Operating Room Technician or Monitor Technician Why Join Providence?
