Summary:

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a leading hospital in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, to identify a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist specializing in Electrophysiology (EP) procedures. This role is essential in providing comprehensive patient care and technical support in the cardiac vascular environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of EP procedures, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Sign-on Bonus: $10,000 (12+ months of relevant experience required)

Responsibilities:

Assist with all aspects of invasive cardiac vascular services and patient care, including cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and endovascular procedures.

Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing concerns.

Operate and maintain specialized EP lab equipment.

Assist physicians during procedures, providing technical support and monitoring patient vital signs.

Document procedures accurately and thoroughly.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the EP lab.

Qualifications:

Education:

Associate degree in cardiovascular technology or a related field.

Experience:

1+ year of experience in EP procedures preferred.

Certifications:

ACLS Certification

BLS Certification

Cardiac Vascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification (must obtain within 6 months of hire)

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

General clerical skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
