Summary The Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist III-Dedicated Call is specifically responsible for coverage of on-call procedures during weekday and/or weekend hours, which may include holidays, within their designated department. Assists the physician with the performance of invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac, vascular, neuro and electrophysiology procedures, by monitoring, passing instruments and catheters, observing patient response to procedure, maintaining sterile field, and interpreting and evaluating diagnostic data to be utilized by the physician. Position requires the operation of equipment that produces ionizing radiation. Due to the nature of the role, practices autonomously and with minimal supervision. Schedule Dedicated Call Full Time, Night Shift Monday-Friday 4:30pm-6:30am 7 on 7 off all call $20,000 Sign-on Bonus. Qualifications Education Associates degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is required. Experience 4 years of experience working in a cath lab radiologic technologist role is required. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required. Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) certification from ARRT OR certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required within 18 months (for hires/transfers, including promotions/career progressions, after July 2023). Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
