Per Diem Cardiac Specialist NP/ PA Opening in Danbury, Connecticut (Fairfield County, 60 miles from NYC) Nuvance Health is seeking a per diem Cardiac Specialist (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant) to join our employed Danbury Cardiology Practice based in Danbury, Connecticut, (Fairfield County) located about 60 miles northeast of New York City and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York. The practice includes thirteen physicians, four full-time APRNs, and excellent support staff. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant looking to join a dedicated and collegial team. Previous experience as an APRN in Cardiology and/or Medicine preferred. Position includes both inpatient and outpatient work at the Danbury Hospital campus and outpatient office. Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year.
