The Capital Sales Representative reports to the Capital Sales Manager and is responsible for global sales of industrial chemical storage and dry feed systems, with a primary focus on the US and Canada. This role involves strategic thinking, extensive travel, client networking, and the ability to navigate lengthy sales cycles. Ability to collaborate with the applications engineering department is essential for successful team-based selling.

Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with clients to foster new business growth.
  • Strategic Opportunity Assessment: Evaluate opportunities strategically and allocate time effectively.
  • Internal Communication and Alignment: Facilitate effective communication among internal departments during new project design, ultimately driving sales.
  • Sales Documentation: Document customer interactions and maintain records of relevant sales activity.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrate the ability to stay organized, utilize client portals for bid entry, and manage large volumes of information efficiently.
  • Market Awareness: Support the development of sales and marketing strategies by staying informed about current market conditions.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or relevant Industrial Sales Experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of successful sales experience.
  • Business Development: Experience with Engineering Firms is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to stay engaged over long sales cycles.
  • Relationship Building: Proven experience in building strong business relationships.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, including international travel to Canada and the US.
