Job Overview While reporting to the Illinois Region President/Deaconess Illinois, this position will be based in Mt. Vernon, IL with some work at the Marion, IL campus. Will direct and support high quality health care services for the Deaconess Illinois Hospitals with primary emphasis on administrative duties for Crossroads Community Hospital. Provides strategic direction for services to achieve goals as approved by the Board of Directors. Provides for the best possible patient care through carefully developed policies and programs in all settings. Keeps up-to-date on trends in the health care industry. Provides the necessary knowledge regarding the needs of the health system. Originates and develops, in conjunction with the Executive Team, the overall plans and programs for the hospital and health system growth and makes appropriate recommendations and implementation. Coaches and mentors leaders within the organization at all times. What you will need Master of Hospital Administration (MHA) or related Masters essential. a minimum of five (5) years experience as a director in a medium to large health system. Experience must include extensive operations responsibility, strategic planning, and facilities management, with demonstrated ability to relate well to all external and internal customers.
