Description SAIC has an opportunity for a Campus Connectivity Engineer to support the US Army Corps of Engineers Revolutionary IT Services (USACE RITS) program. NOTE: This is a 100% virtual / work from home / remote position located anywhere in the CONUS. The USACE RITS contract will provide modern and secure enterprise-wide IT support services to approximately 37,000 USACE customers located throughout the CONUS and OCONUS. Services will support the mission needs of USACE's Headquarters (HQs) located in Washington, D.C., nine Divisions and 43 Districts, to include over 1,500 field and area project offices and two data centers that are currently located in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Hillsboro, Oregon. Job Duties: Interface with end users, Government and SAIC team-mates, and sub-contractors to develop and implement inside-plant cabling solutions to support wired and wireless voice, data, and video services to the desktop at all USACE sites. S upport inside and outside plant building-to-building connectivity for non-standard locations such as hydroelectric stations, parks, locks, and dams. Monitor and resolves service issues, and provide guidance and status updates regarding potential future impacts. Direct and manage efforts of telecom technicians and workloads. Stay apprised of projects and issues. Provide interface to customer on high-level issues or requests. Monitor ticketing queues. Ensure sub-contractors are performing to the contract/statement of work. Qualifications Required Education and Experience: Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree Required Security Clearance: Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance Required Skills: Must possess excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and telephone etiquette. Above average ability to interpret, analyze, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems. Must have knowledge of Telecom, VoIP and LAN/WAN Systems. Must be decisive, conscientious and interact well in a team environment or training capacity. Have a strong desire to learn and be able to follow policies and procedures. Must demonstrate the ability to work well with a minimal amount of supervision. Target salary range: $75,001 - $85,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
