Cafe Supervisor/Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cafe Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional service to guests in a fast-paced cafe environment. As a Cafe Staff member, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the cafe, including taking orders, preparing beverages, serving food, and maintaining cleanliness. Responsibilities:
- Take customer orders and input them accurately into the point-of-sale system
- Prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies, according to established recipes
- Serve food items, such as pastries and sandwiches, to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Assist in the opening and closing tasks of the cafe, including setting up and cleaning tables, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and courteously
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe and clean environment for customers and staff
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and make recommendations to customers based on their preferences and dietary restrictions

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a cafe or customer service role is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent multitasking abilities and attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
