Position Description:
  • Lead the CAE analysis of next generation Model e products, in one or more of the following areas: Body, Interiors, Closures, Seats and Frames.
  • Work with D&R engineers to drive design resolutions using both linear and non-linear CAE analysis.
  • Develop component, system and vehicle level CAE models and complete analysis following OEM CAE modeling/analysis guidelines.
  • Direct other analysts to create CAE models and run analysis.
  • Where appropriate, conduct DOE studies utilizing optimization tools to meet performance requirements within the constraints of conflicting attributes such as cost and mass Develop CAE based countermeasures to meet requirements and work with program members to develop design proposals that meet cost and weight targets.
  • Participate in CAE/design reviews to present and communicate findings with other team members.
  • Maintain records of all CAE models and document as needed.
Skills Required:
  • CAE Analysis capability using various codes (pre- and post-processing)
Experience Required:
  • Minimum 3 years
Education Required:
  • BS, Engineering
