CADD/GIS Administrator 3/CGA3

Hybrid working on-site at ODOT a minimum of 3 days a week.

The candidate will be supporting The Ohio Department of Transportation s Office of Data Governance to develop GIS solutions using geospatial tools and analytic platforms based around ODOT s transportation assets. This position will function as a highly skilled CGA with specific responsibilities that include: Developing and supporting of GIS based mobile data collection applications Providing direct support for enterprise GIS implementation Lead efforts support of various GIS software and hardware systems. Leads team to develop various GIS and BI tools to support ODOT s Transportation Asset Management Program. Perform software testing and routine maintenance. Create dashboards and/or reports utilizing analytic BI and geospatial tools Assist with phone and online problem reporting and maintaining problem report records. Develop workflows for asset inventory/inspection applications Monitor system status and data integrity Create customized geoprocessing scripts and reports that utilize computer programming language (i.e., SQL, Python, DAX) Develop data models and Technical Requirements Specifications documents to support application development Technical writing skills to create/update manuals and guides based off business needs Communicate status to managers and project sponsors.

8. Ability to translate business needs to ODOT s GIS systems

Required Skills:
4 year college degree or equivalent technical study. 5 years of ArcGIS for Desktop experience 3 years editing and maintaining data in a GIS environment 1 year of Python (or similar scripting) experience (ArcPy knowledge a plus) 1 year of Microsoft Power BI experience
