Empower innovation and improved product quality through the development of intricate parametric components, assemblies, layouts, and specifications, showcasing a holistic grasp of design intent and manufacturing processes. Independently drive CAD model preparation for complex engineering projects with minimal supervision, developing products that are durable, easy to clean, easy to install, easy to use, attractive, and cost effective.

Specific Responsibilities


•Spearhead end-to-end 3D CAD development, from conceptualization to final assembly of components, ensuring a seamless integration of design elements.

•Iteratively refine designs based on feedback from engineering, suppliers, marketing, and other stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment of continuous improvement.

•Develop thoughtful parametric component features that allow adaptability to future changes.

•Apply expertise in manufacturing and assembly processes to optimize design for manufacturability, delivering solutions that can be made in the real world.

•Oversee and coordinate the development and review of prototypes.

•Provide crucial support to engineering staff in applying analysis techniques, leveraging experience and skill to drive impactful decision-making.

•Proactively identify and escalate design concerns to engineering, collaborating on effective solutions that elevate project outcomes.

•Coordinate design development efforts among other CAD resources assisting with the project.

•Provide guidance and direction in the development of component drawings, ensuring meticulous documentation of critical part dimensions in collaboration with engineers and drafting personnel.

•Coordinate project Bills of Material and essential release information, contributing to streamlined project management and execution.


Skills/Requirements


•Associate degree in a mechanical/drafting field.

•Minimum of 4-6 years' experience using 3D modeling software, demonstrating proficiency and adaptability in CAD systems

•Experience with Creo (Pro-E) preferred.

•Must demonstrate superior CAD skills and adaptability to Kohler CAD systems and have a steadily increasing record of responsibility in layout design.

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

The hourly range for this position is $26.80 - $33.50. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
