Mechanical CAD Designer
Chanhassen, MN for first few weeks, then hybrid (3 days in office).

The Senior Mechanical CAD Designer will be responsible for creating designs and technical drawings for chemical dispense systems and blending equipment. Working closely with engineers and professionals within the AES Project Engineering group, the successful candidate will contribute to the improvement of manufacturing systems and processes and develop drawings for various equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to meet schedules and deliverables, including design and safety reviews.
- Create and modify mechanical drawings from concepts and red-lined documents, ensuring standard mechanical design and documentation.
- Specify and source mechanical components for equipment, adhering to component selection standards.
- Review and approve changes to mechanical manufacturing processes and standards, initiating Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) as needed.
- Maintain high-level mechanical area layouts and review mechanical manufacturing quality and testing procedures.
- Perform flow modeling of systems and assist in training manufacturing personnel.
Requirements:
- Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience, or Bachelor's degree in appropriate Engineering disciplines (Mechanical preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and expertise in AutoCAD, Agile, SolidWorks, and other engineering design systems.
- Detailed knowledge of P&ID's, schematics, and product documentation.
- Familiarity with manufacturing and assembly processes, including experience in sourcing mechanical components.
- Professional Solidworks certification preferred.
