Overview The CAC/DEERS/RAPIDS Support Services includes providing CAC/DEERS/RAPIDS services and overseeing the day-to-day operation of CAC stations, ensuring compliance with applicable DoD Directives/Instructions and USCG policies and procedures. The CAC Administrator supports the C5ISC Workforce Facilities Division at the Kearneysville, WV location, but may be required at the other in-scope locations DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Be the local point of contact for RAPIDS and DEERS for C5ISC Kearneysville personnel.
Coordinate DEERS record corrections with appropriate entities.
Maintain ID card appointment calendar.
Ensure integrity of all personal information is maintained involving issuance of DoD's Common Access Card (CAC)
Conduct routine maintenance of RAPIDS equipment.
Account for card stock and recommend reordering as necessary.
Become familiar and knowledgeable with Commandant Instruction M5512.1A, Identification Cards for Members of the Uniformed Services, Their Eligible Family Members, and Other Eligible Personnel
Maintain files and records.
Generate routine reports from the RAPIDS system these reports are to be run weekly.
Update the DEERS/RAPIDS web page, be proficient and knowledgeable as to with assist with campus
Security and access control procedures.
Assist the Security Clerk as needed.
Other duties, tasks, and projects, as assigned.
Maintain DEERS/RAPIDS office hours of and Monday through Friday, unless the facility is closed due to federal holidays, weather events, or other circumstances as determined by the Commanding Officer REQUIREMENTS: Must have 1-3 years of equivalent work experience, with direct CAC/DEERS/RAPIDS support functions
Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred
