Cable Installer with Security Clearance

Superior Communications Inc. (SCI), a trailblazer in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a dynamic Cable Installer to join their elite team. Schedule: FT on site in Rockville, MD Responsibilities:

• Provide the provisioning, installation, termination, testing, and maintenance of all types of cabling (primarily RF and Fiber)

• Install cabling associated with BDA/DAS infrastructure

• Install cabling both under floor and above the ceiling in cable trays, troughs, wiring baskets, harnesses, and J hooks

• Install backbone/vertical, roof, and outdoor cabling

• Field terminate cabling utilizing multiple types of connectors technical techniques

• Assist in commissioning of systems

• Make deliveries to customer sites

• Ability to travel up to 20% annually, both CONUS and OCONUS Basic Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI clearance

• 2 years of relevant experience

• Reliable Transportation w/ valid driver's license

• Previous experience using power and hand tools

• Able to climb ladders to heights of up to 20 feet

• Able to carry equipment up to 70 pounds Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic electrical/wiring/conduit knowledge

• OSHA certified

• Ability to train across business

• Ability to operate a forklift and/or scissor lift Benefits:
