Contract has a long period of performance (indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity). Your work will be mission critical and you will have the job satisfaction of supporting the unique mission of the Air Force Special Operations Command / special forces - helping to save lives. The AC/MC-130J Maintenance Trainer will train personnel on mandatory 5 level core and selected duty
position tasks. The Trainer will provide classroom training using a lesson plan provided by the USAF for small groups of students. When not in the classroom, the C-130J Maintenance Trainer will perform additional hands on flight line training, mentorship, continuation training, and provide technical assistance and advice. Travel should not be required for the position; and the hours are day shift Mon-Fri. Learn more about the Cannon AFB here:
Basic Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications : AC/MC C-130J Maintenance Trainer experience (Preferred) Must have achieved a USAF Craftsman skill level (7-skill level), (Reference AFI 36-2101) in a like position/system on the C-130. Will consider equivalent skill level from the other branches of the Military (Marines, Navy, Coast Guard, Reserves). Prefer 5+ years of maintenance experience on the C-130J model aircraft. Must be familiar with AFIs, IMDS and technical orders. Must have excellent communication skills, trainers will present themselves as a positive role model for students. Must be a US Citizen - eligible for Secret Clearance, Only need Interim clearance to start
Desired Skills:
C-130 aircraft jack supervisor, tow supervisor, refuel/defuel supervisor, BPO/PR, thru-flight, preflight and HSC experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
