Responsibilities:

Drive the complete procurement lifecycle, ensuring seamless product flow by forecasting demands, managing supplier relationships, and synchronizing with multiple teams for efficient inventory management.

Craft and execute a global sourcing strategy, meticulously evaluating and selecting suppliers while managing contractual relationships to ensure product quality and punctual delivery.

Implement performance metrics to evaluate supplier effectiveness, manage supply chain disruptions proactively, and identify cost-saving opportunities to enhance profitability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and extensive experience.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain management, and vendor negotiation, with a clear track record of success.

Required ISM or APICS certification, complemented by advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with Warehouse Management Systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in business administration or supply chain management.

Multilingual capabilities, particularly in languages pertinent to our supplier base, to foster better negotiations and relationships.

Proven experience in the food import and distribution sector, especially with Mediterranean and European markets.

Demonstrated ability to lead cost reduction projects and supply chain optimization initiatives.

Superior negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
