Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic partnerships.
2. Develop and implement advanced estate planning strategies to ensure the optimal preservation and distribution of assets.
3. Conduct comprehensive tax planning to minimize tax liability and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
4. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and legal memoranda.
5. Represent the organization in legal proceedings, including litigation, arbitration, and regulatory investigations.
6. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to develop and implement legal strategies that align with the organization's business objectives.
7. Stay abreast of developments in tax law, estate planning, and business transactions to ensure the organization's ongoing compliance and competitiveness.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Transactional Attorney, with a focus on tax and estate planning.
4. Proven experience in advanced estate planning, including the development and implementation of sophisticated estate planning strategies.
5. Comprehensive knowledge of tax law, with a particular focus on the tax implications of business transactions.
6. Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully negotiating complex business transactions.
7. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal audiences.
8. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex legal problems and make sound legal decisions.
9. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
10. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
