The Business Systems Analyst reports directly to Manager, Cloud Applications and will be a hybrid work model; working in the office a few days a week and from a home office a couple of days per week. This position works in partnership with Accounting & Finance, Operations and Sales teams to deliver high quality solutions for business needs.

Primary Duties:

Principal liaison to and main IT support for Accounting & Finance, Operations and Sales business partners. Review, analyze and evaluate business systems, current business processes and departmental needs. Propose and document the needs and solutions for complex business challenges. Prepare functional specifications and business requirement documents and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process improvement and automation:
    • Serve as the liaison between Accounting/ Finance/ Operations and any third party regarding Yardi/ ERP and Enquire/ CRM software functionality.
    • Analyze and document business processes. Assess their impact on existing systems.
    • Define and/or collect, understand, and transmit the business requirements for project and translate these into functional specifications
    • Design and develop Excel/ SQL based reports in accordance with set methodologies
    • Quality control and testing
    • Maintain and troubleshoot day-to-day management of the system(s)
    • Assist with systems upgrades, plug-ins, and migrations
    • Design, execute and document test scenarios and test scripts as necessary.
    • Maintain appropriate confidentiality regarding Company information and ensure proper destruction of confidential documents.
  • Technical:
    • Minimum 1 year experience with RDBMS required 3 years preferred.
    • Knowledge of SQL language
    • Excellent skills in MS Office suite
    • Experience withSoftware Development Life Cycles

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Professional Aptitude:
    • Analysis of financial systems experience preferred (Accounts Payable, Receivable, Billing/Invoicing).
    • 3 years' experience analyzing and documenting complex business processes and developing business requirement specificationsfor Information Systems.
    • Ability to understand and apply technical concepts
    • Understanding of senior living/healthcare industry
