Business Systems Analyst (Workday HCM)

OVERVIEW:
As a Workday Business Systems Analyst at Tutor Perini Corporation, reporting to the IT Director of Business Applications, you will have the opportunity to provide customer service and solutions on internal technology projects.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Configure, maintain, and administer Workday Human Capital Management system, including core tables, eligibility rule, business processes, workflows, notifications, calculated fields, and plan setup
- Support day to day operations, maintenance, and functionality of the Workday HCM system including security setup and update management
- Research and provide options to customers to solve technical problems
- Respond to and resolves intermediate questions
- Document processes with business teams
- Review and improve application compliance processes with compliance team
- Plan project tasks for specific process areas
- Recommend remediation of solution conditions
- Review reporting and recommends change using advanced tools
- Make recommendations and partners with business to determine selected solution
- Evaluate and implement solutions to business in a customer service, consultative methodology
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred; High School Diploma or GED required
- Two plus years of experience of professional experience administering and maintaining Workday Human Capital Management systems.
- Hands-on experience supporting Workday HCM modules Payroll, HR and Benefits.
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM Payroll
- Hands-on expeirnece with Workday HCM integrations, configurations, and updates.
- Understanding and experience working with Word enterprise interface builder (EIB)
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM payroll.
- Prior experience working in a technology related position providing customer service, needs analysis and solutions to customer challenges
- Understanding of scripting languages and API interfaces
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools and or Microsoft 365
- Prior expeirnece working in a systems analyst role while an organization is transitioning and rolling out Workday HCM (plus).
- Possess a problem-solving mindset, demonstrated customer services focus and understanding of systems and processes
- Excellent listening, customer service, written and verbal communication and compliance with rules and regulations
