The Business System Analyst (BSA) collaborates closely with the Product Owner (PO) to develop the end-to-end product strategy and manage inter-factory/domain dependencies. Their key duties involve translating user requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria, acting as the primary point of contact for the team regarding requirement clarifications and user stories. With a decisive role, they hold authority within the team as a representative of the PO, ensuring alignment on priorities and daily decision-making.

The BSA supports the PO in liaising with other factories and leadership to ensure team strategies align with the overall product vision. They prepare and guide the team through product demonstrations and other interactions, maintaining the relevance of process software and updating forms, reports, and databases as needed.

Facilitating Agile ceremonies and ensuring their ongoing execution, the BSA aims to enhance the factory's comprehension of Agile concepts and principles. They define the criteria for completing backlog items, monitor requirements and deliverables, and verify the product's readiness for release while ensuring incremental value creation.

Moreover, the BSA serves as the primary contact with other factories on the release train, ensuring compatibility and resolving impediments. They coordinate with central automation, compliance, and quality control to guarantee full compliance during product release.
