This position is full time on-site at Fort McNair or Fort Belvoir. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: Responsible for technical support related to the network, network printers, computers, and Army software Work with the IMO to facilitate support to all personnel by tracking support requests, initiating Army Enterprise Service Management Platform (AESMP) tickets as needed, and supporting the IMO in ensuring that requested support is provided in a timely manner. Develop SOPs for IT/SM in both NIPR and SIPR domains Support development of IT policy, continuous process improvement, and process automation. Broad support to IT/SM and IT infrastructure that sync with other Network Enterprise Centers (NECs) and other administrative support services such as human resources, security, and facilities/property management to ensure the efficient functioning of the workforce Support OCIO's role in onboarding personnel, managing IT equipment inventory, network resources, accounts, and providing secure access to information. Provide IT/SM support to the OCIO and IMO in supporting IT infrastructure, operations, and end users. Support establishment and maintenance of effective IT/SM capabilities, processes, and procedures to ensure availability, performance, and security of IT services and infrastructure across the Enterprise. Support service desk management by monitoring and managing communication channels to ensure prompt identification and response to end users' issues. Support timely resolution and escalation of issues coordinating with applicable POCs, initiating service tickets, coordinating with stakeholders, and local NECs to facilitate resolution of issues. Maintain a knowledge base and self-help tools to support end user self-help and education. Support IT education and training of the workforce. Support collection and compilation of IT related metrics and development of reports. Support IT procurement compliance, management, and tracking processes. Support the OCIO/IMO in collecting data and responding to taskers and RFIs. Support CMH OCIO/IMO in coordination with property management and security as applicable. Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Current active Secret Security Clearance Technical Expertise: Proficient in analyzing complex systems, identifying pain points, and proposing effective solutions. Skilled in eliciting and documenting requirements from diverse stakeholders. Excellent customer service, attention to detail, communication and documentation skills. Must be a team player and willing to work "outside the box" to get things done as needed. Experience working in an IT Service Desk environment. Bachelor's degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline Working Environment & Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
