Title: Business System Analyst

Mode: Remote

Client: Allianz Life

Location : Minneapolis, MN

Duration: most likely will be extended beyond 6 months

Plan User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate the solution delivered meets the business needs

Desired Experience

Familiarity with ARCS (Account Reconciliation Cloud Services) and Kyriba is a plus.

Required: depth knowledge financial services industry (2) Six Sigma, and/or Business Analyst training or certification a plus (CBAP, BABOK)

Job Description

RSP - Retirement Solutions Platform. It is working on ALIP product. We house our insurance products here and we are calling it RSP.

For the 6 months contract they are focusing on annuities.

If they have dabbled in Life that could tie into this team for the longer term.

Looking for high quality, someone who will fit our culture.

Program is multi layers, complex, and huge. The team this BA needs to support has different lanes.

This person must have experience working with the business, setting scope, getting requirements, documenting criteria,

Preferred:

8-10 years Business Analyst Experience

Strong leadership ability, with experience coaching other analysts

Six Sigma, and/or Business Analyst training or certification a plus (CBAP, BABOK)

Experience with the Agile framework (SAFe, Scrum, KanBan)

Knowledge of Jira and/or Polarion (epics, user stories, tasks, subtasks)

Qualifications:

6-7 years Business Analyst Experience

Strong analytical and project management skills

In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry, with specific long term care experience preferred

Self-starter who can work independently

Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills

Ability to work across delivery team, to coordinate delivery and implementation

Experience with external vendors

Strong multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.

Effective prioritization skills and a track record of meeting deadlines.

Creative problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset, utilizing data and system knowledge to drive meaningful conclusions.

Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative analysis and reasoning.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality work with a focus on detail.

Basic project management skills.
