SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION

In this role, you will possess conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within the discipline, operating within defined policies, procedures, and practices with guidance. You will assist in executing testing and quality assurance for the enterprise business suite, meticulously documenting testing outcomes. Additionally, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of business theories, concepts, principles, and techniques to identify opportunities for process improvement. By collaborating with the team, you will contribute to the development of business process designs and user guides. Furthermore, you will address production support issues, application configuration tasks, and enhancements under the guidance of senior team members as necessary.

Configuration and Process
  • Conceptually understands how to implement and maintain low to moderate business processes within the enterprise business application suite.
  • Works with senior team members to understand validation processes.
  • Develops knowledge of application and reporting tools to assist senior team members.
  • Possesses conceptual knowledge of project management methodologies and the application development lifecycle.
  • Participates in creating and maintaining documentation to support enterprise business applications.
  • Development and delivery of training materials.
Production Support
  • Provides support and assistance for production and process issues.
  • Seeks guidance to troubleshoot and interpret error messages.
  • Assists with implementing system solutions using appropriate Change Control methods.
  • Supports departmental efforts to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Develops familiarity with existing business processes to prevent potential issues and gathers information for future process improvement opportunities.
  • Exercises good judgment and follows escalation procedures in accordance with information technology service level agreements.
Customer Service
  • Offers end-user support.
  • Monitors Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and escalates as necessary.
  • Adheres to and promotes continual adoption of change management policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates outstanding customer service behavior, including timely and effective follow-up with customers.
Miscellaneous
  • Develops knowledge and professional skills through cross-training, literature review, and attendance at department meetings and vendor education.
  • Cultivates and maintains positive relationships.
  • Collaborates effectively with others to foster a positive team environment.
  • Participates in instructional seminars and continues development on Cincinnati Children's computer-based systems.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 0-2 years of experience in a related job discipline OR
Preferred
  • Experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management
  • Experience with Advance Time Scheduler
  • Experience with Workday - (Payroll, Compensation and Benefits)
