Job Purpose

This job assists in applying Project Management best practices toward daily management of the ADC Business Plan. Utilizing available tools and Honda Processes, you will work with Key Stakeholders to capture Business Theme requirements and organize them within a consolidated framework. The Business PM will oversee the establishment & growth of a Portfolio Enterprise system, which will be used to monitor quarterly achievement of key, corporate objectives. This role will be critical in developing schedules, templates & visualizations to enhance top-management alignment & promote standardization across cross-functional business teams.



Key Accountabilities

  • Establish & grow enterprise system for managing ADC Business Portfolio
  • Develop and maintain calendars, visual communication tools, & templates to promote standardization & ensure clear communication of Business Planning Milestones
  • Engage management, technical and product development leadership to collect Business Theme Requirements & Organize within the NA Regional Business Framework
  • Aggregate quarterly Business results & share with top management to guide decision making and inform Strategic Planning efforts
  • Support other Business Planning Group members with analysis of data, alignment of theme activity, and summary of information from the 8 ADC Business Units
  • Coordinate schedules, timing and logistics with various parties ADC Executive Administrators, Human Resources, Corporate Communications, etc. for both recurring monthly meetings and one-off meetings
  • Independent work on associate's own initiative to better understand Honda alignments, processes and business goals and then promote changes and best practices to Bus. Plng. Leadership and ADC MGMT



Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, communications, or related field
  • PMI-CAPM Certification - Preferred; PMI-PMP Certification - Optional
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering, business, communications, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Project Management Role
  • Ability to communicate clearly across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to use both visual and verbal communication tools to clarify situations and build toward common understanding and consensus.
  • Familiarity with Project Management Tools (Smartsheet, Clarity, MS Project)

Working Conditions

  • Office based working conditions.
  • HDMA "Hybrid" designation combining in office and remote work.
  • OT as required especially around large events or activity. Typically less than 5%.
  • Travel less than 5%.
