Job Purpose

  • Works with a diverse design team of stylists, modelers, fabricators, engineers in coordinating/planning the division's budget for a full range of design/development activities. Leads correlation meetings relevant to departmental and organizational budget. Maintains a high level understanding of budget and accounting, and can advise department managers on maintaining their budgets. Creates accurate status reports to department leads and upper management on a regular basis. Serves as a liaison to Facilities and ISD with any division requests for fixed assets and IT-related equipment.
  • Work assignments are performed within defined latitude for independent judgment, problem solving and decision making as well as defined parameters for accuracy, quality, efficiency and compliance with time schedules and applicable policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Area of Specialty: Project Management focusing on Budget planning & Expense tracking



Key Accountabilities


• Applies knowledge/understanding of the budget planning schedule from PR budget to Landing Forecast budget, and ensure budget plans are submitted on time.

• Coordinates with each department lead to document all department budgets related to Travel, Contingents, Interns, Education, and General.

• Assesses the overall division budget and identifies any potential trouble areas of excess expenditures or areas of insufficient expenditures.

• Manages the accuracy of the overall division budget by continually correlating with other RM Project Managers and department leads to get the latest information.

• Provides direction and/or training to department leads with regards to budget submittal and budget allowances.

• Leads meetings with team members, department leads, upper management and/or executives to effectively correlate the latest status regarding the overall division budget.

• Create and manage Styling development Genbo (budget) and operate report meetings. Analize budget/actual and manage styling life development cost.

• Create and manage plans for styling development schedule, by coordinating styling team operations.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of related work experience with a Bachelor's degree. 8-10 years of related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree or combination of same.
  • Excellent investigative, judgment, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent analytical, prioritization, detail-oriented and time management skills
  • Excellent project management and process improvement skills
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and team-building skills

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point)
