Job Purpose

The Business PM Sr Specialist leads the planning & execution of ADC Business Development internal programming & Executive education. Applying a continuous learning mindset, this role will actively reflect lessons learned toward building more robust Business processes and related knowledge systems. The job will leverage instructional design methodology, Business Strategy and stakeholder requirements to create curated content for ADC Executives and Senior Leadership.



Key Accountabilities

  • Lead ADC Business L&D Program, targeting active participation and learning completion
  • Promote Business Operations continuity, with targeted Learning for new ADC Executives, management & business personnel
  • Engage management, technical and product development leadership to collect stakeholder requirements & reflect into L&D strategy
  • Develop & Monitor annual Operational Metrics, gauging performance of L&D program within defined Honda Business categories (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale)
  • Collaborate with ADC Business Planning, HR, & External Business partners to standardize learning practices for Executives, Business Theme Leaders and regional planner network
  • Utilize Business Planning Events to promote awareness & progress of Corporate Initiatives
  • Independent work on associate's own initiative to better understand Honda Organization, historical processes and business goals for the purpose of promoting changes and best practices to business planning leadership and ADC management.



Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, instructional design, adult education, training & development, or related field
  • CPTD Certification - Preferred; PMI-PMP Certification - Optional
  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design, training and development, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in working with Senior Leadership
  • Ability to communicate clearly across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to use both visual and verbal communication tools to clarify situations and build toward common understanding and consensus.
  • Familiarity with LMS Tools & Methods

  • Execution Decisions: Timing, Venue, Audience, Required Inputs, Desired Outputs, Organizing Next Steps
  • Activity Connection: Best method to engage related stakeholders. Weigh progress, momentum, engagement to develop best path forward and WIN-WIN solutions



Working Conditions

  • Office based working conditions.
  • HDMA "Hybrid" designation combining in office and remote work.
  • OT as required especially around large events or activity. Typically less than 5%.
  • Travel less than 5%.
