Responsibilities:
Work with customer to understand/clarify purchase needs to ensuring accuracy in execution of PR (Purchase Requisition)/PO (Purchase Order) process.
Investigate and analyze business processes, taking best course of action based on established company policies, best path based on all identified factors.
Use knowledge gained by prolonged daily involvement and subject matter expertise to review & approve purchase requisitions within assigned categories, ensuring LGES-Honda company procurement governance policy requirements are met, confirming accuracy and appropriate commercial details between the requisition & supplier quote and/or contract are included upon issuing the purchase order to supplier based on company's standard operation procedure (SOP) while meeting all defined KPI's (key performance indicator's).
Support business process improvement & project theme activity. As a team member, support all scheduled activities and assignments identified within project schedule.
Additional Points:
Review, Analyze, Interpret and Deifier various circumstances to Process Purchase Requisition and Purchase Orders in compliance and adherence to corporate guidelines while ensuring that document support is in accordance with governance and compliance requirements. Follow-up with and/or redirect internal customers to resolve gaps.
Investigate blocked invoices and provide options for resolution to internal and external customers to ensure timely payment.
Monitor Purchase Order status, investigate delays resulting in missed targets (unconfirmed PO lines, late deliveries) and work with internal and external customers to resolution.
Understanding markets; Understanding purchase laws/systems; Cost management/analysis; Financial accounting skills.
Review the purchase trend analysis data.
Understanding orders / purchase orders / contracts; Cost management/analysis.
Ability to problem solve system issues and provide feedback while helping to develop system best practices.
Experience and Qualifications/skills:
Bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, etc. or equivalent related experience
0-4 years of related experience based on education (preferable in a purchasing related role or in a field where job knowledge & skills are applicable)
Good communication (both written & oral), negotiation and interpersonal skills
Knowledge with ERP systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office software and advanced Excel skills
Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to details
