Job DetailsWe are seeking a Business Management Accountant to assist with the financial operations and strategy for our esteemed clientele in the dynamic world of entertainment.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial statements
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Enter brokerage/retirement account activity and update values.
- Code out credit card statements between several entities and calculate totals.
- Review general ledger, make adjusting entries, and reconcile accounts.
- Accounts payable
- Process payroll
- Payroll tax returns and sales tax returns
- Annual tax filings (1099's)
- Prepare tax packages to be presented to outside CPA.
- Manage client's personal finances, assets, bills, staff, etc.
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 2-5 years of Public Accounting and Business Management experience.
- Prior experience doing accounting/bookkeeping for multiple clients at once.
- Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Excel and QuickBooks desktop.
- Familiar with inEntertainment software is a huge plus.
- Good attention to detail to enter correct data into financial records and recognize errors and the ability to correct them.
- Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial matters in accessible terms.
