Our client in the Detroit Metropolitan Area is seeking a Business Intelligence Manager
Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer SQL databases to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize data and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Utilize APIs to integrate data from various sources into the SQL databases and Power BI reports.
- Design and generate financial reports using SQL queries and Power BI for accurate analysis and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Tracking, analyzing, and resolving ERP system issues with local vendors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
5-7 years of experience in related field.
Proficiency in SQL administration, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management.
Experience in developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards.
Familiarity with REST APIs for data integration and automation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
Prior experience with ERP systems, preferably Infor CSI, is a plus.
