Side, Inc. seeks Business Intelligence Analyst in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties: Work with business stakeholders to define requirements and design reporting
solutions to address their business needs. Translate business outcomes into measurable
metrics/insights. Implement complex data recipes for use in executive reporting. Addressing and
resolving data defects with data models and improved processes. Conduct in-depth analysis to
uncover root causes of customer pain points and work with business partners to drive process
improvements. Proactively identify data trends, develop hypotheses and generate insights to
help ongoing improvements of our services and processes. Mine data, build business
intelligence dashboards, and assist with data investigation. Perform detailed data Investigation
and data validation in our systems to ensure data is captured and transformed correctly.
Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Side, Inc offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements- Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or closely related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements- (1) R; (2) PowerBI; (3) SQL; (4) MongoDB; (5) Excel; (6) VBA; (7) R Shiny; (8) IBM Cognos Analytics. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Side, Inc offices may be required.
