We are searching for a mission-driven professional to join our Business Development team as AMERICAN SYSTEMS' next Capture Manager. As a Capture Manager you will: Play an integral role in growing the company by building competitive advantages on bids Be a leader in driving best capture practices to develop winning bids Assume accountability for advancing and maturing opportunities toward high win probability Receive a robust benefits package that includes Employee Stock Ownership Plan . A week in the life of a Capture Manager: Be a key member of the Business Development team who works on top pursuits and contributes to company growth. Meet with customers to learn their key requirements and show how AMERICAN SYSTEMS can meet their needs. Work across the company to develop and implement win strategies to increase competitive advantages on bids and best position AMERICAN SYSTEMS Lead and negotiate teaming agreements and strategic alliances. Work with the Solutions team to develop competitive solutions that meet customer requirements and hit the Price to Win Advise and support other capture efforts by supporting color team reviews. Gather, assess, and validate customer requirements working closely with Business Development and Delivery leads identifies related needs and constraints that impact winning solution. Assesses probable competition and evaluates relative strengths and threats conducts Black-hats, competitive scenarios, etc. Translate requirements into robust win strategy, carefully tested and validated, and advances strategy to management and technical design with strong value proposition and differentiated bid elements based on compelling features and benefits. Identify gaps and develops strategies to overcome weaknesses and mitigate risk. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant business, technical, or professional field of study 15 years total experience in federal government procurement 8-10 years of capture management with federal government procurements knowledge of federal acquisition regulations and policies strongly preferred. Secret clearance Able to travel 20% of the time (on average) Proficient and proven ability in capture management based on industry best practices. Proven winning track record with large and complex IT, Engineering, and Professional Service-related contracts in the federal marketplace. Confidence and experience dealing with senior executives; able to work effectively in fast-paced, time sensitive, and often multi-tasking environment. Strong verbal and written skills Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and business acumen. Able to deliver and willingness to provide effective coaching, mentoring, and training. The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $210,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
