About The Business Development Role:

  • Prospect and research:
    • Determine target companies/accounts through market research, networking, referrals, and other CFS best practices.
  • Connect and build relationships:
    • Call, email, and connect over networking sites. Get to know hiring managers and business leaders in your area. Represent CFS and create a professional network.
  • Identify and solve problems:
    • Ask lots of discovery questions to uncover and anticipate hiring needs.
    • Meet over video or in-person to determine best-fit candidate profiles for each open position and handle contract negotiations.
    • Collaborate with the Recruiters and Staffing Managers on your team to recommend qualified candidates and ensure a smooth hiring process.
  • Manage your accounts:
    • Follow up, provide top-tier customer service, and maintain a close working relationship.
    • Use your industry knowledge to provide value by sharing employment trends, salary guides, hiring tips, etc.
  • Expand:
    • Deepen market share in the territory and become the go-to person in your area for any financial hiring needs.
    • Bring in new business and expand further into existing accounts to grow team/branch revenue and contribute to the earnings of everyone in your office.

About Pay, Benefits, Etc.

  • Compensation:
    • Permanent base salary (this is a full-time, W2 position)
    • Uncapped commission. No quotas or thresholds to hit before you start earning. Tiered bonus structure. The more you learn, and harder you work, the more you will make.
