Job Description Summary:

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our valve business by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

â Finding and developing new markets and improving sales
â Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
â Responsible for maintaining an open communication line with employees, customers, and vendors to ensure proper handling of all sales issues that may arise.
â Responsible for continuous improvement in all areas of sales and maintaining the highest standards according to company policy.
â Develops, prepares, monitors, and maintains special projects and programs a requested.
â Prepares daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports, analysis, records, and databases for assigned areas.
â Meets with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
â Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
â Any other duties of a similar or lesser nature as required

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college, or university preferred; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in pipe, valves, or actuation.

Language Ability:
Read, analyze, and interpret business, professional, technical, or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and the public.

Mathematical Ability:
Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should know Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Inventory software; Development software; Design software; Internet software; Order processing systems; Project Management software; Manufacturing software, and Database software.

Qualifications
â Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
â Proven track record of success in business development within the industrial or
valve industry.
â 10+ years of valve technologies and applications.
â Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
â Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
â Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market trends.
