Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly driven and sales-oriented Business Development Manager with experience in selling to government agencies and managing government projects to join our team. This role is ideal for a proactive and ambitious individual who thrives in a sales environment and excels in cultivating strategic client relationships within the government sector. The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales, conducting market research, and developing tailored solutions for government clients. They will primarily focus on calling and working within Houston, Texas. Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business prospects and generate leads to drive consulting opportunities within government agencies.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with government clients, delivering tailored solutions that support their project objectives.
  • Provide strategic guidance throughout the consulting process, from initial client meetings to project delivery within government frameworks.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of government clients, focusing on understanding their unique needs and delivering impactful solutions within regulatory constraints.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior consultants, fostering their professional growth and development within government projects.
  • Contribute to the development of consulting proposals, crafting strategic recommendations tailored to government project needs.
  • Engage in negotiations regarding consulting agreements and terms of engagement within government parameters.

Requirements:

  • Preferably hold a Bachelor s degree.
  • Some familiarity with the consulting process is preferred.
  • Experience in client relationship management and strategic consulting is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Possess a goal-oriented mindset, with a drive to achieve objectives and exceed expectations.
