Job Details

This position will provide comprehensive transportation solutions for the customers and develop new Domestic, International Ocean and airfreight business within a given territory.

Duties:
Plan weekly sales calls
Create a target sales list
Solicit new business opportunities and maintain current business
Successfully market our transportation services as well as our warehousing and distribution services.
Increase revenues
Improve profitability
Assist with Requests for Proposal(RFP's)
Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)for customer instructions
Identify new business opportunities within a specified territory by cold calling
Follow up on all sales leads
Participate with pricing analysis

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 3-5 years of international or global freight forwarding sales or industry-related experience.
Strong experience in transportation industry/sales (Hunter)

Benefits: Remote but must reside within the territory; 90% travel within territory; monthly car allowance provided
