Job Details:
We are in need of an experienced Business Development Manager for our Chicago office. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and knowledgeable in everyday business operations within the the A.E.C The Business Development Manager will work closely with the executive team, product management, and marketing teams to establish, drive, and maintain business growth strategies. Previous experience within healthcare or education sectors is preferred.

Responsibilities:
1. Identify and generate new business opportunities to fuel up the sales pipeline.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients and partners, maintaining a consistent pipeline of business contacts.
3. Understand and keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and business practices.
4. Develop strategies to achieve short and long-term business objectives, including increased sales and profitability.
5. Coordinate with various teams to address business development priorities and devise effective solutions.
6. Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
7. Evaluate the current business performance by analyzing profitability, revenue, margins, and market share.
8. Ensure all business activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
9. Provide customer service and ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
2. 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the A.E.C.
3. Experience within healthcare or education sectors is preferred.
4. Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and team management skills.
5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
8. Ability to travel as needed.
9. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
10. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
11. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, competitive, and dynamic environment.
12. Exceptional customer service skills with a dedication to maintaining customer satisfaction, potential and existing clients.
