As a Business Development Manager-Staffing, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and ordering sources in various healthcare sectors, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, surgery centers, home health agencies, insurance companies, physician groups, schools, and wellness organizations.
  • Identify potential opportunities through state and federal programs, group purchasing organizations, and hospital associations.
  • Deliver compelling presentations about Interim HealthCare to organizations and potential clients to influence their decision-making process.
  • Develop account development strategies targeting large and complex organizations, securing growth in account market share.
  • Utilize our contact management system to track and report on sales activities, monitor account development progress, and plan the next steps with guidance from the Director or supervisor.
  • Create a territory and key account plan to maximize market coverage and achieve a solid return on invested time.
  • Stay updated on current regulations related to healthcare staffing to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with managers to monitor customer service levels and review target accounts.

A few must-haves for Business Development Manager-Staffing:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business (or related field) or equivalent training and work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of successful sales experience, preferably in healthcare staffing or commercial staffing services.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of home health services, referral sources, and payors.
  • Understanding of state and federal home health standards and regulations.
  • Experience selling staffing services is a plus.
  • Ability to travel to the local area and maintain a weekly call schedule.
  • Excellent communication skills, goal-driven mentality, and ability to work independently.
