Business Development Associate

Primary Location: Louisville, Kentucky

V-Soft Consulting is currently seeking Business Development Associate in Louisville, Kentucky.

Education and Experience

  • Education: Associate degree or bachelors degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Experience: While prior sales experience in a services environment is preferred, welcome motivated individuals with a passion for business development.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Background: While not required, a technical background or familiarity with IT concepts is a plus.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training programs and seminars to develop and expand sales competency.
  • Teamwork: Foster teamwork within and across divisions, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Special Projects: Take on special assignments and projects as needed, gaining valuable experience and exposure to various aspects of business development.

WHAT YOULL DO:
Job Responsibilities:

  • Prospect Management: Organize and manage your prospects systematically, implementing strategic plans for business development.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Develop new customer relationships while nurturing and expanding business within existing clientele.
  • Business Development Strategies: Utilize various methods such as research, lead generation, networking and in-person appointments to generate new business opportunities.
  • Lead Generation: Generate leads through prospecting, cold calling and other media, converting customer inquiries into orders.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on potential new business opportunities and current customers, staying informed about industry trends and developments.
  • CRM Utilization: Maintain and update business plans using CRM tools, ensuring targeted new accounts and mapped territories are effectively managed.
  • Collaboration with Recruiting: Partner with recruiting teams to understand job requirements and company cultures, ensuring accurate matches between clients and candidates.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with managers and internal staff to communicate customer service priorities and identify business opportunities within the territory.
  • Networking: Actively participate in networking events and niche IT organizations to expand your professional network.
  • Sales Reporting: Complete all required sales reports and documentation, ensuring timely entry of data into CRM systems.
