Business Development and Proposal Analyst

SUMMARY

The Business Development and Proposal Analyst will support business development efforts for our Federal government customer groups focused on Department of Defense (DoD), National Security, Public Health, and Federal Civilian agencies. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience supporting all aspects of business development activities at Dfuse. The Analyst will support bid/no-bid decisions by conducting research using various sites such as GovWin, FPDS, USASpend.gov, GovTribe, etc. The analyst will also support all sales/business development activities including the identification of new deals, alignment of these deals to our core capabilities/past performance and maintaining the accuracy of our pipeline using Salesforce. Understanding and experience within Federal Contracting is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports the goals of our business development department. Must be able to independently support all BD, capture, and proposal activities.

Knowledge of Government contract vehicles such as CIO-SP3, GSA IT 70, SAM.gov, Seaport NXG, and Full & Open Government procurements required.

Maintain the BD pipeline in Salesforce for currency and accuracy.

Independently perform Gate 1 analyses for potential opportunities within Dfuse s core competencies. Present these analyses to BD team for consideration.

Develop all reports as it relates to opportunities in our pipeline including but not limited to FPDS searches, USASpending.gov searches, and competitive landscape analysis

Develop opportunity capture strategies and supporting the execution of those strategies/tactics.

Analyze market opportunities, conduct market research, and execute strategic initiatives.

Must be able to lead high level / Gate 1 deal reviews with Dfuse internal leadership and partners.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Requires 5-8 years of experience in the field of Business Development and/or Proposal Coordination and Support.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Must be comfortable working in Microsoft TEAMs environment.

Must possess the ability to develop pipelines, tactical and strategic plans, goals, and objectives.

Experience in Federal Government IT and Healthcare strongly preferred.

Must have knowledge of Government contracting requirements, business development processes, and proposal operations.

Must have proven experience demonstrating strong organization, planning, and communication skills.

Must be comfortable collaborating and contributing to the BD and proposal processes.
