Job Summary Job Description Summary The Operational Excellence (OE) and Human Performance (HP) Team is a leader in Vistra Corp's fleet continuous improvement strategy. The OE intern will work as part of a team of subject matter experts in all aspects of Human Performance, Organizational Learning, Lean Thinking, Process Improvement, Influence Strategy, Change Management and other disciplines within psychology and the social sciences. The OE intern will work closely with corporate executives, OE internal consultants, and McKinsey & Co. business partners to employ improvement and behavior modification strategies. Job Description Key Accountabilities o Assist with Operational Learning & Continuous Improvement efforts to improve reliability, safety, costs, and improved decision making. o Work closely with OE team and site leaders to plan, deploy, and maintain a culture of learning, agility, and Continuous Improvement. o Coordinate with OE team to ensure all employees have the training, practice, encouragement, modeling, coaching, and reinforcement to effectively deploy OE and HP tools, tactics, strategies, and philosophies. o Research and update team on the most up-to-date thinking and best practices in psychology, neuroscience, culture change, and leadership. o Assist in the assessment of the HPI/Lean programs. o Assist in the development, improvement, and delivery of culture change and process improvement training for all levels of the organization.
