We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on various business matters, including contract negotiation, commercial law, corporate law, and governance/ownership. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse and complex legal issues in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of business matters, including contract negotiation, commercial law, corporate law, and governance/ownership.
2. Prepare, review, and negotiate various business agreements and contracts to ensure the company's best interests are protected.
3. Stay updated on current laws and regulations related to the company's operations and ensure compliance.
4. Work closely with the executive team to provide strategic legal advice on business decisions and risk management.
5. Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents such as contracts, agreements, policies, and procedures.
6. Represent the company in legal proceedings and liaise with external legal counsel as needed.
7. Advise on corporate governance and ownership issues, including structuring, formation, and dissolution of corporations.
8. Provide training to company employees on legal matters, such as contract negotiation, compliance, and risk management.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Attorney or a similar role in the legal industry.
3. Strong knowledge of business law, including contract negotiation, commercial law, corporate law, and governance/ownership.
4. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and reach mutually beneficial agreements.
5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret laws, regulations, and complex legal documents.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
7. High ethical standards and professionalism with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
9. Admission to the state bar where practicing.
10. Proven experience in managing and resolving legal disputes in a business setting.
