Laboratory Technician Job Duties:
• Performs laboratory technical tasks
• Responsible for the care and maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Will be required to offer assistance in the operation of the equipment and the gathering of data
• Assists with receipt and inspection of samples, ordering and stocking
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
• Works as a team member
• Typically reports to a supervisor
