Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst (Operations) to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the fast-paced, innovative environment of the engineering industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, improving business processes, and influencing strategic decision-making. This position is ideal for a self-starter with a strong analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective business strategies to improve operational efficiency.
2. Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify business needs and opportunities.
3. Utilize query tools, excel, access, and other data analysis tools to extract, compile and interpret data for business decisions.
4. Perform variance analysis to understand trends, cycles, and deviations in business operations.
5. Provide support in the development and maintenance of the EPM Data system.
6. Generate detailed reports on business operations, trends, and forecasts for management review.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement business process improvements.
8. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
9. Facilitate training and workshops on new business processes and systems.
10. Ensure all business operations comply with regulatory standards and practices.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
3. Proficient in query tools, Microsoft Excel, Access, and other data analysis tools.
4. Strong knowledge of variance analysis, EPM Data, and report writing.
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
7. Strong organizational and project management skills.
8. Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
10. Knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines.
11. Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for uncovering and solving complex business problems.
