Our excellent client is looking for a Business Analyst for a one year+ hybrid W2 contract role in either Boston or Springfield. MUST be able to work on our W2 and be local to the area.
Duties: The Opportunity
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join a new and growing organization. You will be responsible for all facets of requirements related to the delivery of solutions for our stakeholders. Responsible for supporting multiple tracks of work, working closely with the project team, program manager and business SME's.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document specifications for the enhancement, maintenance and problem solving for the highest level of complex applications or operating system (s).
- Ability to work both independently and with multiple project teams, Solution Architects and program manager on highly visible, complex projects.
- Formulate and define business and/or systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable industry requirements.
- Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering business and/or system limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
- Provide analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper business and/or system requirements.
- Guide and advise less-experienced Business Analysts.
- Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of business and/or systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
- Data, business analysis, test data preparation. Engages with the teams to identify and develop requirements for the technical work. This involves finding business resources to develop a thorough understanding of the ask and creating requirements so the tech team and teams doing the work clearly understand the need.
Required Qualifications
6+ years of development experience
Knowledge of Administrative systems and platforms
Previous experience in complex data & system integrations Insurance product background
Strong problem solving skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Continuous improvement mindset Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of development experience
Experience with cloud-based applications and upgrades
Experience with system integrations and administrative platforms
Comfortable working in ambiguity
