WHO WE ARE HIRING: TEST MANAGER

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

HHS Technology Group (HTG) is currently looking for a TEST MANAGER that will be responsible for testing the quality of our projects and the delivery of our products to our clients. As a Test Manager, you will need to have a keen eye on the requirement details of the project and have the mindset of predicting or anticipating risks from requirements gathering throughout the delivery of the product to our clients. This includes providing feedback on artifacts created during the requirements and analysis phase of client projects, writing test plans and test cases, and performing/leading manual and automated test execution for both project and support activities.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage testing activities during DDI and Federal Certification
  • Manage testing activities for enhancements, maintenance, and operations, as needed.
  • Direct and oversee the development of the Test Plan and Strategy for DDI and Federal Certification
  • Coordinate, plan, document, and facilitate the testing preparation, activities, and tasks.
  • Produce and maintain associated schedules, plans, and procedures for testing.
  • Set project or program controls and tracking to allow effective management of the defined tasks; report progress to project or program management as required.
  • Lead training of Agency personnel and Agency-designated contractors in the use of testing tools
  • Validate that testing activities are carried out according to quality standards.
  • Oversee testing processes, test scripts, preparation of test environments; verify that requirements are tested and test plans that can be traced to requirements.
  • Provide testing metrics and reports, and report on test case completion, defects, and defect resolution.
  • Work with the Agency in support of User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Software Engineering, Information Systems, or other Technical degree
  • Minimum four (4) years of professional experience leading teams of 4 members or more, for software testing, E2E testing, integration testing, UAT, and/or automation testing
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in QA in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience leading or participating in the technical implementation of software/systems/applications automating complex business processes, which must include:
    • Assessment of scope and tasks on technical testing.
    • Planning technical testing tasks.
    • Mapping various business, user, and system requirements to test cases.
    • Leading and/or working within cross-functional teams that include business subject matter experts, application architects, developers, and testers.
    • Demonstrable experience in preparing test scenarios, test cases, and documenting test results.
    • Demonstrable experience with sanity/ regression testing and adjusting test scenarios for periodic maintenance releases.
  • 5 years' experience in Agile or Hybrid Agile models.
  • 3 years' experience in developing Test scenarios, Use Cases, Test Cases, and Execution
  • 3+ years of Test Reporting, including Coverage, Traceability, and Defect Reporting with industry-standard matrices.
  • 5 years' experience in using a test management suite like ALM, Jira Xray, Test Rail, Zephyr, TM4J, etc.
  • 3+ years of using an Agile requirement and defect tracking tool like Jira or Trello.
  • 3 years' experience in developing/architecting/maintaining a Selenium Automation framework, using Selenium web drivers in Java, using one or more automation concepts like BDD, TDD, and/or Data Driven Testing.
  • 3 years' experience in following industry standard automation frameworks models like Page Object, or Page Factory Model.
  • 3+ years in Automation testing responsibilities including E2E/integration, Sanity/regression, conversion, and production-validation testing.
  • 3+ years of experience performing data validation activities (writing SQL queries to validate data between source and target) between existing legacy systems and the new system being implemented.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with:
    • Familiarity with testing types (Functional, System, Integration, Regression, and UAT)
    • Creating and working with Testing Artifacts
    • Test Cases creation and execution
    • Test strategies
    • Test plans
    • Test cases
    • Transition plans
    • Traceability matrices


DESIRED SKILLS:

  • State Government technical solution delivery experience is highly desired, but not required.
