Job Purpose
The Business Analyst will be responsible for sales forecasting, discovering Marine industry insights and identifying opportunities through the use of statistical, machine learning, algorithmic, data mining, and visualization techniques. You will need to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to analyze forecast variances, identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies, and deliver successfully against high organizational standards. The candidate should be able to apply a breadth of tools, data sources, and analytical techniques to answer a wide range of high-impact business questions and present the insights in concise and effective manner.
Key Accountabilities
- Creation sales short and long-term forecasts
- Analysis on Honda wholesale and retail performance relative to the industry
- Data dashboard creation and management
- Monitoring retail boat sales by type and manufacturer
- Provide sales management with direct support on reporting
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field
- Marine industry experience or knowledge preferred
- Must have comprehensive MS Office skills with significant emphasis on MS Excel. Skills in SAP and Power BI are highly preferred
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
