Job Title: Business Analyst / Developer
Location: Rahway, NJ (Hybrid)
This is Open ended contract with our direct pharmaceutical client.
Objective: We're looking for a Mid to Sr level tier A with SQl and other database query skills as a standard for this and all future Tier A positions. A high level of attention to detail and quality control is required for this position. The ability to work in a strick workflow environment that requires personal accountability, and the ability to work well on a large team in a demanding operational environment. Showing initiative, confidence and good communication skills are expected.
Responsibilities
- Create ad hoc and automate reports and dashboards to present and analyze metrics.
- Interface with business and technical areas across the organization gathering reporting requirements from start to finish.
- Develop and integrate SQL queries to extract data through .net applications, Excel reports and Access database tools.
- Maintain data integrity and ongoing quality control of delivered reports, applications and data migrations.
- Data mining and analysis of vendor and in-house relational databases and warehouses.
- UAT in data migration from mainframe to Amazon AWS.
- Update and maintain applications developed in VB.net and MS Access.
- Create and maintain documentation of standard operating procedures.
Additional skills in addition to SQL for the right candidates.
- The eventual goal is to migrate all eDiscovery positions here, both structured and unstructured.
- To that end, the positions will range from Tier B to Operator, all based on the demonstrated ability of the candidates.
- To get them in the door the minimum will be some sort of SQL knowledge and experience.
- This is to give the option of Structured collection work and the ability to possibly work in PI and reporting.Other pluses will be DBA, Metadata and Oracle, again for the experience working with database architecture.
- File and print operators and/or email admins from both the hands on technical aspect and the administration side will also factor in.
- This is to show an aptitude for navigating around the network systems which is helpful in both structured/Unstructured.
