Job Description

As a Cloud Ops (Azure + Windows) Level 3 professional, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure. This role requires a high level of expertise in Azure services, cloud management, and Windows OS support/administration, collaboration with Networking, AD, Cyber, Terraform, ServiceNow, and Automation teams.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain Azure resources, including, but not limited to, virtual machines, virtual networks, storage, and Azure data services.
Monitor and optimize Azure infrastructure for performance, cost efficiency, and security.
Support deployment efforts for the delivery of project-based assignments including proof-of-concept, analysis, design/architecture, deployment, and support.
Ensure that Azure resources and services are compliant with industry standards and company policies.
Implement and maintain security best practices for Azure, including identity and access management, firewall rules, and encryption.
Access management using Azure Lighthouse and manage Lighthouse scripts/templates.
Collaborate with Terraform, ServiceNow and Automation teams in developing automation scripts and tools to streamline Azure resource provisioning and management.
Coordinate with Infrastructure Engineering team to prepare standards for cloud operations processes.
Coordinate with Infrastructure and Cloud Architecture teams to design cloud solutions.
Analyse vulnerabilities reported by Cyber tools. Plan and track remediation actions on the vulnerabilities based on priorities.
Provide L3 support for Azure-related incidents and issues, working with the team to resolve complex problems.
Support and maintain Windows Server OS, Active Directory.
Provide L3 support in troubleshooting Domain Controller related issues.
Evaluate and perform installation of patches, hot fixes, and server upgrades.
Support and maintain Citrix Xen Desktop/XenApp environments including Delivery controller, Storefront, Director, and NetScaler.
Participate in on-call rotations to address critical issues outside of regular working hours.
Participate in internal & external audits as and when required.
Participate in Project standup meetings related to Migration, DR Configuration etc.
Act as a point of escalation for complex Azure-related incidents, participating in incident resolution and post-incident analysis.
Create and update documentation for Azure infrastructure and best practices.
Drive FinOps initiatives to save money on cloud infrastructure including IaaS and PaaS resources.
Manage and support MOVE it File Transfer Platform, Citrix Platform, Remote Desktop Services. Recommend & implement disaster recovery solutions working with architecture and engineering teams.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305 are a plus.
Proven experience in designing and managing Azure-based solutions.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Required Skills:

Experience with Azure monitoring and management tools.
Knowledge of cloud cost management and optimization tools.
Experience in managing & supporting File Transfer Platforms e.g., MOVE it.
Experience in managing & supporting Citrix Platform, and remote desktop services.
Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
